Remember This Titan #15 Danny Durick

1/3/1991 - 5/31/2005

On behalf of Northtowns Soccer Club, our thoughts and prayers are with the Durick family.

From Rob McCall

I met the Durick family some years ago through my Brother-in-law Gil at an Alleghany Family Camp Out.  Since that time our families have shared in the good times and the sad times.  Our families camped together, Gil and Joe worked together, the kids played soccer together and the families even shared a dog together.  But Today, I’m here to pay honor to a soccer player.  Dan was a true soccer player and had a love for the sport like no other.   Dan’s enthusiasm for the game of soccer has shown others that no matter what life deals out, you can achieve success if you want it bad enough ……………and he did.

Dan will always be a part of Titans team that no one can replace.  With the Family’s permission, the Northtowns Titans – Coaching staff and team mates, request the privilege of retiring Player jersey #15.  In honor of their team mate Dan, the Titans would like to present the final #15 Jersey to the Durick family.

We would like to present the family with a team autographed soccer ball and thank you for sharing Dan, the duck tape, and the good times with us.  In the game of soccer all champions receive trophies for a win but Dan fought and won many more battles, games, and victories over the years.  Dan will forever be a Champion with us and we would like to present the Durick family with Dan’s Champion Trophy.

But the true honor and gift comes from Dan himself.  The Titans Thank you Dan for the honor of having you as our inspiration and our team mate.  May the Good Lord bless you and keep you always.
