Meeting called to order at
Reading of the April 13,
2006 meeting minutes (Thanks to Andy Constantino for the minutes in my absence): One correction noted – the Northtowns Soccer
chicken barbecue is June 10. Meeting minutes accepted.
Treasurer’s Report: Don Rogers presented his monthly report. Total checking and savings account balance for
May 2006 - $79,155.83. Deposits are made
and bills are paid. Treasurer’s report
accepted. Copies of the reports are in
the meeting minute archives.
Travel Report: Glenn Dolata reported the following:

Glenn
distributed chicken barbecue tickets and game balls to the coaches following
the meeting.
·
It is critical
that field striping of the U-11 and full size fields be done before the Monday
because of field usage.
·
Registration
for the Odenbach Tournament is on-line.
Registration is $140. The Tournament
will be at the
·
Glenn still has
patches for $1.00 and hats for $7.00.
·
Glenn will not
be able to continue his many Club obligations next year so the positions of
travel coordinator and field manager are open for the taking.
·
When adding a
player to the team roster, this must be completed 24 hours in advance of the
scheduled game and Frank Huber and Roger Jank should be notified ASAP.
House Report: Glenn Dolata (Frank Huber absent) reported
the following:

The registration
for the summer program is 840 and climbing with 240 players for the U-6 age
group.
·
There are 70
children registered for the Challenger Soccer Camp, which is up significantly
over last year when there were 20 registrants.
Fundraising: Jerry Sullivan reported the following:

Frank Huber
will be coordinating the concession stand at the AIM Tournament.
·
The June 10
chicken barbecue will be at the NT Middle School between the hours of
·
The adult’s
only pig roast is July 22. More details
forthcoming.
·
The annual golf
outing will be August 26 – information sheets were available at the meeting.
Old Business: None.
New Business:
·
Glenn reported
that the Club’s attorney is working with the Town of Wheatfield regarding 15
acres of land at Mario Park – lease or license issues.
·
Jerry Sullivan
emphasized the importance of travel coaches reporting on game reports if three
officials do NOT show up for their games.
·
Both Glenn and
Jerry emphasized the importance of the Club’s fundraising efforts and volunteer
involvement is needed. As the Club moves
forward, expenses will increase so fundraising is critical for the survival of
the Club’s objectives.
