Meeting called to order at
8:38 PM by Jerry Sullivan.
Treasurer’s Report: Don Rogers presented his monthly report. Total checking and savings account balance for
June is $126,153.14. As usual all
bills have been paid and deposits made. Treasurer’s
report accepted. A hard copy of the report
is in the meeting minutes archives.
House Report: Frank Huber reported the following:

Summer
registration is 885 this year compared to 851 last year.

Coaches were to
see Frank after the meeting.
Travel Report: Glenn Dolata reported the following:

Frank reported
that travel tryouts are in 6 weeks.
·
Glenn is
pleased with the field markings.
Upgraded marking equipment has been provided
·
Glenn asked
that coaches be careful of things said to players. There have been no big issues from the
league.
·
Coaches
participating with their teams in tournaments should get patches and other
items through Glenn.
Fundraising:

Phil Bova
presented his accounting of the Chicken BBQ on June 9. Total profit was $1,852 compared to $1,632
last year. Hard copy of the accounting
is in the archives. PHIL IS TO BE
COMMENDED FOR A JOB WELL DONE AND HE WAS GRATEFUL FOR THE HELP HE
RECEIVED. HE DID COMMENT THAT MORE
TRAVEL TEAM SUPPORT SHOULD BE OBTAINED IN THE FUTURE SINCE THEY RECEIVE MORE
BENEFITS FROM THE CLUB.

Todd Lee
reported that the location of last year’s pig roast is not available and he is
pursuing other locations.

Frank Huber
reported that there may be a beer blast at the
Old Business: None.
New Business: Jerry Sullivan mentioned the upcoming
tournaments:
Old Business: None.
New Business: Mr. DeRose made a presentation looking for
attendees of the special summer camp (North American Soccer Association), which
is to be the last week in June. Issues
raised included the cost ($325/player) and interference with other
programs.
Field Project: The project is in a designated wetlands
requiring extensive soil/land raising and grading, which would be a
considerable expense. Further details
forthcoming and the project is not a dead issue. Other land opportunities need to be
investigated.
