Sullivan, Glenn Dolata, Frank Huber, Don Rogers, John Lysek, Andy Constantino,
Phil Bova, Ken Belote, Scott Warner, Bill Weitz and others who did not sign in.
Meeting called to order at
Reading of the June 8, 2006
meeting minutes was dispensed with, minutes accepted as is.
Treasurer’s Report: Don Rogers presented his monthly report. Total checking and savings account balance for
July 2006 - $81,438.29. Deposits are made and bills are paid. Treasurer’s report accepted. Copy of the report is in the meeting minutes
archives.
Travel Report: Glenn Dolata reported the following:

Travel teams
are doing well.
·
Jerry and Glenn
are on the WNYJSL Board and will be meeting with the Board to discuss issues
with dual carded players on a team.
·
Regarding
Glenn’s relinquishing of his duties from the Club, job descriptions are on the
web site for training coordinator, travel coordinator, and field manager, Ken
Belote expressed interest in the training coordinator position.
·
Teams that
played in the Odenbach Tournament please make sure you pay the $140 fee.
·
Upcoming D
& E courses. Fees are $110. Courses are in September, check web site for
actual dates and times.
·
On-line travel
team registration is underway.
·
Glenn was part
of a referee team at the Niagara-Pioneer Tournament when the coaches for a
Canadian team became irate and used fowl language and potentially threatened
the referee. This behavior is NOT
acceptable and WILL NOT be tolerated.
House Report: Frank Huber reported the following:

The summer
picnic will be August 26 @
·
Registration is
now on-line for the Fall Just for Kicks and Indoor House Programs.
·
Flyers/advertisement
for travel team tryouts is being put together.
Coaches are to advise Frank when players are selected.
Fundraising:

Phil Bova
indicated the Chicken Barbecue went very well and was very appreciative of all
the help provided. 317 dinners were sold
for a $1673 profit and desserts raised another $100.

The Gold outing
is also coming up (August 26 – registration at
·
Todd Lee spoke
on the Pig Roast with hopes of selling 200 tickets. Everyone is encouraged to come – night out
with plenty of food, drinks, DJ, socializing, plus season opening tickets to
the UB Bull’s home game for each paying ticket!
