Meeting called to order at
8:39 PM by Jerry Sullivan.
Meeting Minutes: The reading
of the July 12, 2007 meeting minutes was dispensed with and the minutes were
accepted as written.
Treasurer’s Report: Don Rogers presented his monthly report. Total checking and savings account balance for
August is $108,638.14. As usual all
bills have been paid and deposits made. Treasurer’s
report accepted. A hard copy of the report
is in the meeting minutes archives.
House Report: Frank Huber reported the following:

House program
ends this Saturday, August 11.
·
August 18th
is the annual picnic for travel and house teams, families, etc. @
·
Lotto winners,
$4700 payout, checks are being written.
·
Risk Management,
applications handed out, check expiration, complete ASAP where applicable.
·
Saturday,
August 11, last day of try-outs, get information to Frank ASAP regarding player
status.
Travel Report: Glenn Dolata reported the following:
·
New team
coaches were introduced. Unfortunately,
I did not get all the age groups and new coaches.
·
The team
coaches were reminded that the Northtowns Organization meets monthly and that a
team representative must be present to stay informed of pertinent
information. Gyms will be obtained for
the teams and that the teams should be respectful of school property (get to
know the custodian). Glenn also wants to
know when the first practice is so he can attend and meet the parents relative
to Code of Conduct.

The team coach
is responsible for their team operations.
·
Team uniforms
are ordered on-line through Andy Constantino.
Uniform cost is $65.
·
Teams get
training vouchers and Ken Belote has the list of trainers. The team coach is responsible for
coordinating the training. Coaches are
to communicate with Ken relative to licensing courses.
·
Assistance was
requested for taking down the nets at the Middle School on Sunday, August 12.
·
More topsoil is
to be obtained in September for field repairs at the Middle School.
·
Buffalo & WNY
policies discussed regarding dual carded players/elite and premier players, and
next year there will be changes to U-11 & U-12 teams as to 9 v 9 and 11 v
11.
Fundraising:
·
Jerry Sullivan
reported that the Golf outing is August 25th and Glenn is still looking
for foursomes, prizes, support.
·
Beer Blast at
Caputi’s on
·
Dave Defrank
presented a check for $1,000 to the Club from Wal Mart. Employees of Verizon and Wal Mart will make
Club donations.
Old Business: None.
New Business:

reported that more positive information regarding the field project will be
presented next month.
