Treasurer’s Report:  Don Rogers presented his monthly report.  Total checking and savings account balance for September was revised to $92,751.96.  Total checking and savings account balance for October is $97,107.39.    As usual all bills have been paid and deposits made.  Treasurer’s report accepted.  Mr. Sullivan questioned the low interest rate the Club was getting on the accounts and will be pursuing this matter.

House Report:  Frank Huber reported the following:

·          The fall indoor session will have 435 players, the largest number ever, with games to begin Saturday, October 20.

·          Coaches without their risk management should NOT be coaching.

Travel Report:  Glenn Dolata reported the following:

·          Every team will be fronting $40 for sponsoring a hole at the 2008 Golf tournament before they receive their passes.  This is for fundraising and nine teams did not sponsor the golf tournament this year.

·          Any questions involving travel should be e-mailed or otherwise directed to Glenn and any questions regarding house should be e-mailed or otherwise directed to Frank.  Frank is being inundated with e-mails.

·          Please communicate with Glenn regarding interest in the E-Certification Coaching Course, which is an 18-hour course and would be one weekend.

·          New coaches should discuss with Glenn regarding assistants.

·          Glenn is looking for three teams to operate the concession stand at the AIM tournament in 2008 (Memorial Day weekend).

·          Enjoy the City coupon books are for sale, 2 for $25 (with $5 each per book going to the Club).  Contact Glenn or they will be available during the indoor Saturday program.

·          Future travel team games, 11 v 11, will be played at the Gersh Academy (Old Lowry School).  This field, one of the best in WNY, will be rented and is to be used for GAMES ONLY.

·          Glenn passed out training tips brochures from the British Soccer Camp.

·          Mr. Sullivan added the following comments:  Your official roster of players is permanent for the season.  Players cannot be dropped, which can cause big problems with NY West.  Also, teams should sign up early for indoors for the fall and winter sessions to ensure a spot.

Fundraising:

·          Jerry Sullivan questioned the status of the beer blast and Frank indicated this to be in November.

·          Refer to Glenn’s travel report for team’s mandatory Golf Tournament hole sponsorship of $40 prior to receiving their team’s passes.

Old Business:

·          Jerry Sullivan indicated the field situation is still pending with lawyers, DEC related issues.

New Business:

·          Andy Constantino is handling team uniforms and he is asking only the coaches to deal with him regarding uniforms.

·          Frank reminded everyone regarding the goalie clinic for early November and there is still room with sign-up via the web site.
