Meeting Minutes: The reading of the October 11, 2007 meeting minutes was dispensed with and the minutes were accepted as written.

Treasurer’s Report:  Don Rogers presented his monthly report.  Total checking and savings account balance for November 2007 is $90,709.94.   As usual all bills have been paid and deposits made.  Treasurer’s report accepted.

On a related note to the treasurer’s report, Mr. Sullivan has arranged for a better return on the Club’s savings account with Certificate of Deposits and Money Market accounts through HSBC to generate a greater return on investment with interest rates between 4 - 5%.

House Report:  Frank Huber reported the following:

·          Frank made it quite clear that all future session checks will be mailed to a post office box because he does not like people coming to his house at all hours.  (A personal aside by this writer, maybe the people coming to his house are not there to see him.)

Travel Report:  Glenn Dolata reported the following:

·          The Club will reimburse those coaches that took the D & E Courses last year 1/2 the course fee after one year and they will receive the remainder of the course fee next year.

·          The Club is looking to offer a D Course, please contact Glenn if interested.

·          The official travel team rosters are ready and each team must pay $40 for sponsoring a hole at the 2008 Golf Tournament prior to receipt of their rosters.  Frank indicated that team roster files have been sent out to coaches and not to lose them.  Contact Frank if you have not received your team’s roster.

·          Contact Glenn if interested in Enjoy the City coupon books, portion of cost goes back to your player.

·          A new trainer was introduced, Cheryl Cullinan, who has extensive coaching and training experience.

·          Frank indicated that teams can edit specific team information on the Club’s web site, contact Frank for additional information.

Fundraising:

·          Glenn is looking for three teams to operate the concession stand during the AIM Tournament, Memorial Weekend 2008.  Both Glenn and Frank’s teams are playing in the tournament.  Please contact Glenn or Frank if your team can do this.

·          The “Beer Blast” or “Parents Night Out” will be at Caputi’s on Sheridan Drive, Saturday, December 1 from 7 PM to 10 PM.  Each ticket is $10 (the Club receives $7 from each ticket) and each travel team will be getting 20 tickets.  Each travel team is being asked to provide a basket of something for raffling off.

·          Glenn reminded everyone to review the on-line merchandise to support your team players and the Club.

Old Business:

·          Glenn provided the field update.  The Town of Pendleton purchased land is a dead deal but the town would still like to work with the Club on any other opportunity.  At this time there are no other land opportunities.  The property near the Wheatfield Town Hall has land ownership issues.

New Business:

·          Frank indicated that the holiday party will follow the December’s meeting.

Election of Officers:

The offices of President and VP of Travel were open but there were no nominees other than the incumbents, Jerry Sullivan & Glenn Dolata respectively, so the existing incumbents were voted in , one vote cast by the Recording Secretary, for a new two year term.  Next year the Treasurer and Recording Secretary will be open positions for a two year term.  Don Rogers made it known that it would be his last year and he is willing to work with developing a new Club Treasurer.

Meeting adjournment:  9:20 PM.

Submitted: William E. Weitz, Recording Secretary
